Richmond Unwind Supper Club with Steph Douglas and Deborah James
We held our first supper club with @bowelbabe and @steph_dontbuyherflowers at the newly refurbished @thegaterichmond@richmondharbourhotel - it was one of the best nights out we have had in ages!
Thank you to @claireansellphotography for capturing the evening for us. Guests joined us in The Gate bar for @portersgin cocktails followed by a three course meal and chats with Deborah and Steph.
They discussed how they manage their careers with motherhood, how they unwind (or not, in Deborah’s case), the new unwind package available @dontbuyherflowers and Deborah gave an incredibly moving account of her battle with Bowel Cancer including work she is doing to raise awareness of the condition and symptoms.
The bottom line is (see what we did there?!) if you feel there is something not quite right with YOUR body, get it checked out and if in doubt, go for a second / third / fourth opinion. You know you better than anyone and getting checked does not mean you are being dramatic, it could just save your life.
