We LOVED Fashion Re:Boot!

With over 30 stalls jam packed with pre-loved high street and designer fashion, new season and vintage, there was something literally, for everyone. From vintage finds from Butterfly Vintage Girl (one shopper stopped in her tracks over a designer jacket she spotted) and high end designer finds from Christina The Pilates Girl, tiny Alice Temperley dresses from Alice and Laila at the Stiffkey Stores stall, and racks and racks of New, Samples and High Street finds.

John Lewis Styling Team

John Lewis Personal Styling team gave style advice (did you know they provide a FREE complimentary service instore?) (follow @jl_laurar and @stylingcoach_lizzie for more info).

Sophie Lilli Rees (look out for her new girls club night at @bermudabobs) gave us music to shimmy to, The Narthex kept us topped up with fizz and food.

Tania Bird Events created a pink, sparkly, aromatic haven in the loos (as @jl_laurar said “Apart from purchasing a stylish bargain, another thing most women want is a stylish toilet that is worthy of a selfie or a insta shot📸”), did the sign writing, prop sourcing and lit up the main hall and corridor with strings of festoon and fairy lights. Tania has just stepped into making her styling a business, please contact her for parties, weddings, events, club nights, proms (she can transform a venue!).

Big, big thanks to main sponsors Dipple and Conway, who are a high end, independent, family run opticians, stocking high end brands like Tom Ford and Lindberg, they also have racks and racks of incredible vintage frames as well. Thanks also to tote bag sponsors Stiffkey Stores (near Wells next the Sea, they have a gorgeous shop and are also due to be online soon) and St Giles House Hotel, one of Norwich’s loveliest hotels. OF COURSE thank you to Adnams for all the gin!

I’d like to shout out to Shannon at @standenmay, I had a blow dry on Friday morning which I loved (I think the best one ever!) and it lasted until Monday morning.

@newuswapshop showcased their items that you can swap for your clothes instore, they also took home any unwanted items from stallholders that were left over at the end of the night (see their happy faces below!). They are hosting a mega style event at the Open on Thursday 22nd November. It’s a Fashion and Beauty Swap Event with Catwalks, Colour Styling and Upcycling - info is here and here.

We were very honoured that Owen Mathers popped in to sketch the evening…

I am not sure you want to know about my personal purchases, but I’m going to tell you anyway as I am SO PLEASED. I spent one hundred english pounds on: Caro London PJs (they are beautiful, and I feel like an adult), Topshop silver shoes from Martha Coomber, a black and zebra maxi skirt from Domestic Bazaar, a tweed and leather jacket from The Long Blonde, a girls Jigsaw and a girls Zara dress from Alice and Laila, a Cath Kidston dress (like a 40s dress) from Mother Merch, 2 Ralph Lauren shirts, a gilet and Hunter wellies for my son from Lisa Freeman. There was so, so much more that I couldn’t get round to, I guess that’s the downside of working. It was brilliant.

All professional photos are ©Emily Gray Photography (recommended for events, head shots, family shoots, corporate shoots), then you can see instagram stories and videos (the credits are on the image) and then we have photos from student Nancy who is looking to get into fashion and photography.

Photos from @nancymayrockey, who is an art student at Fram Earl - she is looking to get into fashion and photography - thanks and good luck Nancy!
